Availability Update: DVW Alteryx Connector for SAP Business Objects

Following successful customer trials DVW is pleased to announce the General Availability of the Alteryx Connector for SAP BusinessObjects. 

​Like the Alteryx Connector for SAP, the Alteryx Connector for SAP BusinessObjects (ACS BOP) has been architected in such a way that it:

• Requires no installation on SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform;
• Does not require SAP BusinessObjects desktop tools;
• Requires no additional hardware;
• Handles SSO;
• Connects directly to SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform using their own standard API’s;
• Respects the authorisations in the underlying SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform;
• Does not require the staging of data; and
• Allows workflows to be scheduled on Alteryx Server (with the ACS BOP for Alteryx Server).

The ACS BOP is “baked” into Alteryx and comes with two SAP BusinessObjects connectors:

• The SBOP Universe Tool; and
• The SBOP Webi Tool.
