How DVW licensing works

All DVW products use a Desktop / Workbench and Server licensing model.

DESKTOP / WORKBENCH

Design and build locally

Desktop / Workbench licenses are used to design, build, and run workflows locally. Licensed per named user. (DVW Flow Tool products label this seat type "Workbench"; other product families label it "Desktop".)

SERVER

Schedule and automate

Server licenses are required to run workflows in scheduled or production environments. Licensed per server instance.

BASE LICENSE

Core SAP connectivity

Read data from SAP tables, BW, HANA, OData, and more.

ADD-ONS

Extended capabilities

SAP write-back, SAP archive access, and non-core SAP products.

BUNDLES

Consolidated pricing

Commonly needed combinations packaged at consolidated pricing.

Add-ons and bundles require an active Base License for the applicable product.

What is included with every license

Whichever DVW product you choose, the following comes with your license at no additional cost.

Product support

Support is included at no additional cost. There is no separate maintenance or support fee.

Predictable annual cost

No usage metering. Your price does not change with the volume of data you extract, the number of records you process, or how often you run your workflows. Server licenses are sized by capacity, not by how much data you move.

Core SAP read capability

Reading from SAP Tables, T-Codes and ABAP Reports, SAP Queries, Spool, OData, BW and HANA Views is in the base license. Write-back and non-core SAP products are add-ons.

No limit on SAP systems

Connect as many SAP systems as you need, with no per-system charge, and combine them in a single workflow. Connectivity to non-core SAP products such as SAP SuccessFactors and SAP IBP is licensed as an add-on.

Free 30-day trial

Full functionality in your own environment, with no commitment. Server and Hub trials are arranged on request.

DVW licenses are annual subscriptions. Pricing is by named user and by server. DVW does not use concurrent-user, floating or consumption-based licensing.
