DVW Flow Tool

The DVW Flow Tool is a data preparation, transformation and orchestration platform with over 100 built-in operations and 20+ supported platforms, interfaces and file formats. It integrates with a wide range of core SAP products including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW and SAP Analytics Cloud. Add-ons are available to extend functionality with SAP write-back capabilities and integration with non-core SAP products. Cloud data platform integrations for Databricks, Snowflake, Google BigQuery and Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse are included and require an active DVW Flow Tool Server license. The number in each Server license name is the maximum number of dataflows that can run at the same time. Additional scheduled dataflows queue automatically and run as slots become available.

Each Server license includes named-user Workbench licenses (1 with Server 4, 2 with Server 8, 4 with Server 16). Additional Workbench licenses can be added at USD 1,740 per named user, per year.

Choosing a Server band. Size on your peak, not your total. Server 4 runs four scheduled workflows at the same time, and a fifth waits for a free slot. If you are not sure which band fits your schedule, contact us and we will size it with you.

All prices are for a 1-year subscription term, quoted in USD and exclusive of any applicable sales tax or VAT. DVW licenses are subscription licenses. Use is governed by the DVW Software License Agreement.

What is included with every license

Everything below comes with your DVW Flow Tool license at no additional cost.

Product support

Support is included at no additional cost. There is no separate maintenance or support fee.

Predictable annual cost

No usage metering. Your price does not change with the volume of data you extract, the number of records you process, or how often you run your workflows. Server licenses are sized by how many dataflows run at the same time, not by how much data you move.

Core SAP read capability

Reading from SAP Tables, T-Codes and ABAP Reports, SAP Queries, Spool, OData, BW, HANA Views, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere is in the base license. Write-back and non-core SAP products are add-ons.

No limit on SAP systems

Connect as many SAP systems as you need, with no per-system charge, and combine them in a single workflow. Connectivity to non-core SAP products such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Customer Experience, SAP IBP and SAP Ariba is licensed as an add-on.

Over 100 built-in operations

The full transformation and cleansing tool palette is included. There is no separate charge per tool.

Every non-SAP platform, interface and file format listed below is included. Databricks, Snowflake, Google BigQuery and Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse require an active DVW Flow Tool Server license.

Licensing is by named user (Workbench) and by server capacity (Server). DVW does not use concurrent-user, floating or consumption-based licensing.

Prices are per year. An add-on is licensed to match the base license it extends. A Workbench add-on covers one named user. A Server add-on covers the server, whichever capacity band it runs on.

Prices are per year. The package costs half the price of the four write tools bought separately, which are USD 9,220 at Workbench and USD 23,060 at Server. If you need more than two of them, the package is the cheaper route.
