These are the common starting points, not a list of what is supported. The Flow Tool reads any SAP object your team can already see, so if it is in SAP you can bring it into Power BI.

Common questions
Which SAP systems does this work with?
SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC and SAP BW, on premise and in private cloud, including RISE with SAP. SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is supported through the published services SAP exposes there, which is a narrower set than you get on premise.
Can we combine data from more than one SAP system?
Yes. You can read from several SAP systems in a single workflow and combine them before the data reaches Power BI, without staging it somewhere else first.
Should we deliver straight to Power BI, or land the data somewhere first?
Straight to Power BI is the simplest route and suits most reporting. Landing the data in a Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse makes sense when several reports and tools need to build on the same SAP data. That route is included with an active Flow Tool Server license.
Can we send data back into SAP?
The Flow Tool reads SAP data and delivers it to Power BI. Writing data back into SAP is available as an add-on.
