Read the SAP GL Tables BKPF and BSEG Into KNIME

If you need SAP finance data straight from the source tables and you use KNIME, here is how to read the general ledger tables BKPF and BSEG into a workflow, filter them dynamically, and join them into one data set, without exporting entire tables or waiting on a separate SAP development.

In the demo recording you will see two table nodes read straight from SAP, the header table BKPF and the line item table BSEG, with an external list driving the filtering. It runs on the SAP authorizations you already have, with no custom code and nothing new for IT to develop.

The part worth watching: rather than pull all of BSEG, one of the largest tables in SAP, the workflow uses the document keys from BKPF to read only the matching line items, then joins the two into one table you can explore in KNIME or send to Excel.
