If you work with SAP finance data and you use KNIME, here is how to pull your general ledger straight into a workflow, clean it up and explore it, without exporting files or waiting on a separate SAP development.

In the demo recording you will see the whole workflow on one screen. It runs FBL3N, the general ledger line item display, so the data lands in KNIME with SAP's own logic already applied, on the SAP authorizations you already have. No custom code, nothing new for IT to develop.

From there you explore balances by G/L account in an interactive dashboard, click an account to filter the postings, and write the same data out to Excel for anyone who still wants a spreadsheet.
